Gust has started releasing a series of character trailers for Blue Reflection on their Youtube channel, with the first one featuring Hinako Shirai, the game’s protagonist. It seems that her story begins one year prior to the events of the game, in which she has to give up her participation in ballet competitions because of a foot injury. Regardless of this, she still believes that one day her foot will heal and go back to ballet dancing.

This is a nice bit of information to get us going, since this Japanese video doesn’t have any subtitles, so any non-Japanese speaking person would not be able to easily ascertain anything from the trailer, other than the odd rock-paper-scissors game being played at the end (which I lost, by the way.) In any case, I still like this trailer, since it gives me a chance to continue ogling at this gorgeous looking game.

Blue Reflection: Sword of the Girl Who Dances in Illusions is coming out on March 30 for PS Vita and PlayStation 4. I can’t decide which version to buy…
