Persona 5 The Animation Coming in 2018

Usually, you never see it coming, but this time we did. As most of us have come to expect, Persona 5 has garnered so much popularity that it is now getting it’s own animated TV series in Japan for 2018. We have already seen a previous attempt at this in the Persona 5 – The Day Breakers animation, but this one will be a full-on series. The show will be animated by A-1 Pictures and will be voiced by everyone in the original Japanese cast. In terms of the story, it is safe to assume that it will be based around the story of the game, rather than an original thing.

Voice Cast

  • Hero (Akira Kurusu): Jun Fukuyama
  • Ann Takamaki: Nana Mizuki
  • Ryuji Sakamoto: Miyano Mamoru
  • Morgana: Ikue Otani
  • Yusuke Kitagawa: Tomokazu Sugita
  • Makoto Niijima: Rina Sato
  • Futaba Sakura: Aoi Yūki
  • Haru Okumura: Haruka Tomatsu
  • Goro Akechi: Soichiro Hoshi

Obviously, I think this piece of news is pretty awesome. We haven’t truly seen anything about the animation itself, but rather a small and very good-looking teaser. However, if The Day Breakers is anything to go by, then I think it might turn out pretty good. I look forward to watching it after I beat the game for myself.
