Recently we talked about Nights of Azure 2’s release dates for PS Vita and PS4 being August 31 in Japan, but we were yet to have any information on the Nintendo Switch release date. Fortunately, Gust has released a new trailer for the game confirming that the Switch version will be released at the same time as the other two. In this trailer, we get a roll call of the main characters and Lily partners. We also get a good mix of cutscenes, story stuff and some footage of Servans being raised. It all looks very exciting and I’m interested to see how all the versions hold up when comparing them. There are also some new photos for new swimsuit costumes, which look great. It’s interesting how much they are putting focus on the fan service this time around. It seems that after the romance story from the original, they wanted to take it a step further and just turn it into a full on yuri anime with no men at all. It kind of takes away what made Arnice and Lilysse’s relationship so special, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see how the story plays out in the sequel. Buy hey, you know I’ll never say no to sexy swimsuits.
