I had already been rumored for a long while that there would be a second Legacy Collection for the blue bomber, but now we are finally getting official confirmation from Capcom that this is happening. They have just released a trailer announcing the Mega Man Legacy Collection 2, which will feature four past Mega Man games, which are:
- Mega Man 7
- Mega Man 8
- Mega Man 9
- Mega Man 10
Aside from the same features that the previous collection had, it will now contain a new “First Timer-Friendly” Mode that will implement checkpoints and extra armor for easier playthroughs. There is also a “Remix Challenge” Mode that is the complete opposite of that, featuring boss rushes and stage remixes, adding a higher challenge. And finally, there is the Mega Man Museum, that contains artwork, early designs and stuff of that sort.
Look out for the Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 on August 8 in North America for $19.99 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The European release will only have a digital version, while all other releases will have a physical retail option.
