It’s been a while, but now we have a bit more information on the sequel to Yomawari: Night Alone, called Yomawari: Midnight Shadows. NIS America put out a trailer on their Youtube channel showing off some gameplay and English text. I emphasize the English text because there another Japanese trailer for the game that is very similar to the English one, save for some minor differences. You can see my reaction to the Japanese trailer below, and watch the newest English trailer above.
In addition, there is also an overview on Yomawari: Midnight Shadows provided by NIS America below:
“A summer night out with your best friend to watch the fireworks leaves you alone and scared in the dark. Pick up your flashlight and take on the views of two protagonists, Yui and Haru. The two girls have been separated by something seemingly sinister, and it is up to both of them to find each other in the night and make their way home. Along the journey, spirits, ghouls, and strange monstrosities will try to eat both of them whole. So find each other before it’s too late, because the dark is no place to be alone.”
If you’ve seen my reaction, then you know what I think about the game already. I’m pretty excited, especially when it’s pretty much right around the corner. I’m pretty anxious to get my hands on it. I’ve seen enough trailers; now I just want to play it. Look out for Yomwari: Midnight Shadows for PS4 and PS Vita on October 27, 2017. There’s no confirmation for the game hitting PC, but considering the previous game released on Steam, it’s wouldn’t be wrong to make assumptions.
