In a time where Google Stadia is failing miserably at being the future of game streaming they very arrogantly claimed to be, I’m happy we have services like PlayStation Now that quietly continue to be better than Stadia in every conceivable way, despite no one talking about them. Well, I’m talking about them, especially now with the recent announcement that Marvel’s Spider-Man, Just Cause 4 and The Golf Club 2019 will now be available in their entirety to play on Sony’s game streaming service. This won’t last forever though. Spider-Man and Just Cause 4 will only be available until July 7th, 2020 and October 6th, 2020 respectively. The Golf Club 2019 however will be on PlayStation Now forever, which I find hilarious.
If you don’t want to deal with bad internet signal, you can also download these games to your PS4 so you can play them locally and lag-free. If you like the idea of streaming games and Google Stadia didn’t quite do it for you, then maybe PS Now might be a better fit for you, considering the enormous library of games you can get for only $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year. I know I sound like a sponsored ad right now, but I legitimately enjoy using PS Now and I don’t think it gets the coverage or credit that it deserves.
