Well, I was freaking out over all the new Senran Kagura stuff that’s coming out, but now I need to reserve some of that excitement for the Persona series. Atlus has announced Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night for both PS Vita and PS4. These games are both set for a Spring 2018 release and will presumably follow a similar format to Persona 4: Dancing All Night.
You can watch the announcement trailer for both games below. So I’m pretty excited about these two games, but I really hope that they improve the rhythm game aspects of it significantly. I really enjoyed the visuals, audio and even story of Dancing All Night, but actually playing through all the songs were not enjoyable to me at all. I hope that they can learn from the previous title and make improvements that make these fun games to play.
I still have a few questions, like wondering if these games will have streaming restrictions like Persona 5 did, or if these new games will contain a significant story. I also wonder what kind of remixes they will employ into these games and what characters will make an appearance. In any case, I look forward to what they have up their sleeves. Honestly, I’m just incredibly happy to see the P3 cast again…
