The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure is Everything I Wanted
The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure has finally come out in an official capacity. I’ve been playing the Geofront English translation this whole time, but I’m happy that people can now easily buy from a digital store and play it right away.
Moero Crystal H Review – Good For All The Wrong Reasons
TL;DR If you’ve played Moero Chronicle, then you’ve already played this one. It’s literally a copy-paste of the previous game, but with different characters and dungeons. And also, it somehow runs worse than its predecessor.
The Beatles: Rock Band – 10 Years Later
Recently, I made a video essay on The Beatles: Rock Band, 10 years after its release. My first ever video essay where I essentially reflect on my time with this wonderful game.
Game Review – Reverie
Short Version: It’s okay, but doesn’t stand out in any way. There’s nothing necessarily bad about it, but I still felt somewhat dissatisfied.
Game Review – Yomawari: Midnight Shadows
Short Version: It’s like the first one, but better, and the first one was pretty damn good. It takes everything from the previous game and improves upon it in small ways that makes it more interesting and gripping.
Game Review – Undertale (PS4/PS Vita)
Short Version: It’s one of the greatest games I’ve ever played. It’s pretty short, but I’ve played through it more times than I can count. It has made me laugh, cry, feel anger, regret, fear, sadness, melancholy, happiness and much more. This is a game that has a lot to...
Game Review – The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel
NOTE: This is a review of the PS3 version after playing for 42 hours (and watching the recap from the 2nd game.) The newest PC release is pretty much identical, with the biggest difference being 50% more voice acting on PC. Obviously, I highly recommend the PC version for its...
Night of Azure 2 Release on October 24 in North America
Publisher Koei Tecmo announced that the North American and European release of Nights of Azure 2: Bride of the New Moon will be coming to PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch in October.
Game Review – Touhou Genso Rondo Bullet Ballet
Short Version: It’s not good. It’s an interesting idea that’s executed poorly. Turning bullet hell shooters into a fighting game is cool to think about, but it ended up being a boring, overly complicated chore that got old very quickly. The music could be better, the story is mediocre at...
Game Review – Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Nintendo Switch)
Short Version: It’s awesome and you should all get it. It’s a fun island-exploration adventure with very memorable characters, but then it takes some great twists that essentially turns it into Your Name with monster fighting.
